SO TODAY'S SHOW IS CALLED - Top 12 things you can do to have a Super Successful week
1. In order to start Loving Mondays you have to PREPARE on Friday..
Yes, people, Friday is the key to loving Mondays. People sometimes, just wind down on Friday and go into the weekend and by Sunday night the panic starts. See on Friday, you should be writing your plan for what you want to do on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Your TO DO LIST has to be in full effect.

Monique: I remember one time, i had an engagement on Monday but i felt like the weekend came and went really fast as we got to Monday.... i found myself rushing... from that point ...

Jordan : Yes, that is why it is so important to PLAN, PLAN, PLAN... The three P's.

2. Avoid looking at work emails on the weekends
Enjoy your weekends, turn your notifications off and be work-free. Looking at emails will just cause unnecessary stress which can only be dealt with in the office. Weekends are for family or ‘me’ time, so spend it doing things you enjoy - you’ll be amazed at how much of a positive impact this can have on the following week!

To be honest, i personally i am slowly becoming accustomed to this. For those who have known me for years, with the several companies i own around the world. There was no turn off, it was WORK, WORK, WORK... You say ALCHOCHOLIC , I say 'WORKACALOHIC..... Same poison different, passion. But, i slowly started changing and you know i feel like i am 70% there in terms of weekends..

What are you like during the weekends?

3. Have enough sleep
Not getting enough sleep can really have an impact on your mood and productivity levels, so it’s best you get a good amount of shut-eye. And if that means having to record one of your favourite programmes then so be it, you can catch up another time.

Now, there is a caveat to this, so i have a son, Jordan Jr. and when he was born... Sleep was out of the window at least for my wife but i was impacted too, as when he got up, most of the time i was up and when i get up, my brain starts creating and i can't got to sleep again....... So, i FEEL for the parents out there.... If YOU KNOW, YOU KNOW...

Do you feel you get enough sleep?

4. Prayers is the key
You have to pray for protection, success and ideas . Yes, this is one of the BIGGEST Keys, i think people sometimes underestimated to power of talking to your creator deeply. If you can imaginge, a phone has been used the whole day without being charged, and you plug it to this invinsible force....called ELECTRICITY which by the way you can't SEE....but you strongly believe will CHARGE your phone. What happens your PHONE is charged and ready to FUNCTION normally again. This is thesame with PRAYERS.... You have to plug in your MIND , BODY, AND SOUL especially after a hard long week to the CREATOR, GOD, ALLAH, CREATOR OF HEAVEN AND EARTH, LOVE, what ever YOU want to call it. You don't have to be religious, but you have to CONNECT to ensure that you go into the week BLESSED.

5. Dress for success.
Make Mondays the day you wear your favourite outfit or your newest purchase. There’s a direct correlation between how you feel and how you present yourself, so looking good will give your confidence a lift.

So, you know . I came back from Mauritius after being out of the country for 2 years during the lockdown era. Look, i was surprised people are wearing gym wear to go to work, the other day i saw a guy with his jammies.. wearing pyjamas to work is taking the biscuit. I mean, i was in the back of the car with my Dechavel suit and tie feeling massively OVERDRESSED....

What happened?

6. Don’t skip breakfast
Breakfast is often described as the most important meal of the day, providing sustenance and energy (i.e., calories) for whatever activities lay ahead.

The famous nutritionist Adelle Davis famously said back in 1960s: “Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper.” But is breakfast really the most important meal of the day?

You know, It was actually socially and morally frowned upon to eat breakfast until about the 17th century, with the reformation of the church.

So what was the genesis of the pro-breakfast movement that got Americans to believe eating our Cheerios and drinking our coffee in the morning was so important? As it turns out, the line “breakfast is the most important meal of the day” was nothing more than a marketing slogan coined in the 19th century by James Caleb Jackson and John Harvey Kellogg, to sell their newly invented breakfast cereal.

Although at the time, breakfast was just the most marketed meal of the day, nutritionists today are more certain about the value of this advice. As the name suggests, breakfast breaks the overnight fasting period. It replenishes your supply of glucose to boost your energy levels and alertness, while also providing other essential nutrients required for good health.

But, when it comes to BREAKFAST not all Breakfast meals are equal. What is your breakfast go to? Mine is fruit salad
